Yacht Crew Training
Effective Crew Training will give you the basic knowledge and understanding to help your skipper set sail safely. This is a great course for the complete beginner and will give you a good understanding what it take to then go on to be a skipper!
During the 5 days you will learn:
Sea terms and parts of a boat, her rigging and sails
Sail Handling and Rope work
Man overboard and Emergency Equipment
Mooring and Anchoring
Taking the Helm
General Duties
Assumed Knowledge: No previous experience or knowledge required
Age Restriction: 16yrs and over
Ability after the course: You will be able to steer, handle sails, keep a lookout and be a confident and useful crew member.
Qualification gained: Yacht Crew
Next Step: Skipper Training
Max 4 persons on the course, live aboard - minimum 3 persons to run - 5 days training
Group booking for up to 4 persons live aboard for 5 days training.
